Senior/Middle .NET Engineer
Middle $3000-3500, Senior $5000+ – Remote
You have a solid experience of using .NET technologies, write clean code, and have strong self-education skills. That's it. The job fully remote and you will have a free schedule. A truly free schedule.
Tasks
You will participate in the development of our products using the latest .NET technologies such as Blazor, C# 9.0, .Net 5.0, ASP.Net Core etc: rich UI development, integrations with poker rooms, web-development. We practice the functional paradigm and avoid OOP whenever it is reasonable. C# 9.0 Records is our best friend. We do also have some tasks for C/C++, vue.js, TypeScript, WinApi. There will be a space to learn.
Good to have
Would be nice if you have experience in playing online poker professionally especially with statistical software like Hand2Note. We strongly encourage experience in B2C software development with rich UI. Knowledge of React/Redux and Blazor is also great.

Reverse Engineer

You have experience in the professional reverse engineering of desktop and Android applications. Network Traffic decryption, disassembling, patching etc.
Tasks
Your responsibilities will be to reverse engineer desktop and Android poker applications in order to integrate our products with poker rooms. Our tasks have very different nature: from decrypting a log file of an electron desktop app to rebuilding libssl.so for Android. So, there is a huge space for you to learn. I promise you will never be bored :).
Good to have
Would be nice if you have some experience. C/C++ and C# commercial software development experience are strongly encouraged. Especially, B2C products.

Tasks
- User support through online chat. You may not be busy at every moment but you must be online all the time during the working hours. The schedule is flexible and there is no lower/upper limit for hours per day.
- User support through emails, forums, social media channels, etc.
- Testing and documenting user bug reports or feature requests.

FAQ
What is Hand2Note? Are you a legitimate business?
We are developing a software for gathering and analyzing poker statistics. Our software is officially allowed in poker rooms. We are a legal entity located in Vancouver, Canada.
What is your team now?
We are around 10 people currently, including several senior .NET developers, team lead & founder and about 5-6 people in support staff. We have no managers.
What is your current stack?
We are working mainly with Microsoft technologies. .Net Core, C# 8.0, WPF, Git, GitHub, TestRail, SmartInspect, Azure DevOps. Self-written database. ASP.net Core, Razor/Blazor.
Do I need to play Poker to apply?
Experience in online poker is not mandatory but you will have to learn how it works. We give 1 month after employ dedicated to learning the area of poker and our products.
