# Showdowns indicator
# Problem
Imagine that you're playing at 8, 10 or even 20 tables and at the same time you're trying to be aware of all the action is happening in hands. It's impossible to follow all the tables as you spend most of the time on making your own decisions.
Most often we rely on stats in HUD and popups when analyzing opponents in multi-tabling game. However in most cases stats don't have enough sample and are highly susceptible to dispersion. So we have to rely on insufficient data and build a series of assumptions based on extremely dubious numbers.
The most acute lack of information is felt when playing with fishes as recreational players most often play an insufficient number of hands to accumulate a good sample on them.
# Solution
Obviously, the most useful information about an opponent with insufficient sample can be obtained from his showdowns. Having seen several hands with open cards, we can make more accurate assumptions about his game than if we had studied the entire popup of stats with small samples.
Hand2Note allows you to always be aware of all the showdowns of all players at the table and quickly review these hands realtime.
# How it works?
Once you sit at the table, HUD for all the opponents will be displayed. HUD usually includes stats and color note icon for a player. (If you don't have such an icon in HUD, you can add it yourself).
After each hand in which player's cards were opened, the counter on that icon will be increased. For example, if since the moment you sat at the table your opponent showed his cards on showdown two times, you'll see the number "2" on top of the color mark.
Now you can hover over the icon, quickly review these two hands and draw some conclusions. Hands are presented in a compact format which you can learn more about from a separate artilce: Quick Hand View.
After that the counter will be reset. Subsequently, it will be increased again when the player next time shows his hand on showdown.
Thus, you can keep abreast of all the open cards of your opponents by simply hovering over their color marks from time to time if there is an indicator of new showdowns there.
This function only works if you are sitting at a table. If you use HUD in observer mode, showdown indicators will not appear.
# Customization
You can define what hands will be displayed when hovering over color mark of the player. Go to Configuration → HUD:
By default the list of last hands with showdowns is displayed. If you disable the first option then the hands without showdowns will also be included into the list. The second option allows to exclude the hands with a small size of the final pot.
